It’s launch day for Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and that means we have a new trailer. 2K announced the port at the end of August but didn’t show any actual gameplay. However, that finally changes and we have footage with today’s trailer.

Civilization VI: Leader Pass gets surprise release on Switch

2K announced today that the Civilization VI: Leader Pass has just come to Switch and other consoles as a surprise release.
The pass adds 18 new playable leader selections to the game. Although it was not originally planned for a console release, strong community interest and feedback resulted in 2K changing its mind.

LEGO 2K Drive announces Creators Hub update

2K and the LEGO Group just announced a major Creators Hub update for LEGO 2K Drive. Once installed, players will be able to share their vehicle designs with the world and browse / download creations from others.
The Creators Hub menu first puts players in the Depot, “where the hottest vehicles on the block are showcased.” There they can check out the Most Upvoted and Most Downloaded creations from the community.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns cancelled on Switch

The Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer happening. In a blog post today, 2K and Firaxis shared the news.
It’s unclear what happened. The blog merely states: “Note that a Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer planned.”

LEGO 2K Drive Switch retail release is a download code

LEGO 2K Drive is seeing a retail release on Switch, but probably not in the way that most would have hoped. Rather than including an actual physical cartridge, it looks like 2K Games is opting to simply including a download code.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this, and it definitely won’t be the last. However, given that LEGO 2K Drive is a fairly significant game release, it’s somewhat of a surprise. Not everyone will care – especially if you were planning on going digital in the first place – but it’s still worth bringing up.
