Arachnid Games

Arachnid Games, who brought Ballpoint Universe to Wii U a few years ago, released its latest game Diluvion earlier this year. The developer has confirmed on Twitter that this title is now making its way to Switch.

Arachnid Games told one fan:

Diluvion is described as a “3D deep sea, Jules Verne inspired, exploration game with RPG elements and thrilling submarine combat”. We have more details and a trailer below.

Arachnid Games recently revealed that Ballpoint Universe is finally heading to the Wii U eShop next Thursday. The company didn’t say, however, if the news applied to both North America and Europe.

Well, now we have an answer! Arachnid told one gamer on Twitter that the European launch of Ballpoint Universe will be taking place “a few months” after the North American release. This is because of the “separate publishing process for each region”.

Arachnid’s tweet in full:

Arachnid Games has announced that Ballpoint Universe is coming to the Wii U eShop on October 16.

The studio tweeted earlier today:

Arachnid did not specify whether this release date only pertains to North America, Europe, or both. We should be finding out pretty soon either way!

Thanks to Matt for the tip.

Ballpoint Universe is currently in final testing, according to developer Arachnid Games. Once that’s complete, there should be news about a final release date.

Ballpoint Universe will cost $5 when it launches.

Ballpoint Universe will take a little while longer to launch. According to developer Arachnid Games, it’ll require 2-3 weeks of additional development time while last-minute bugs are ironed out.

The studio confirmed on Twitter:

As for pricing, Wii U owners can expect Ballpoint Universe to cost $4.99.
