This week, Hamster is bringing Space Battleship Gomorrah as the latest entry to the Switch’s Arcade Archives library, the company has confirmed. A worldwide release is planned for August 5.

Space Battleship Gomorrah was originally released in 1999 by UPL, and later was brought to the west as Bio-Ship Paladin. It’s a horizontal shooter in which the player controls both the ship and its weapons as well as a targeting reticle for other weapons independently.

Arcade Archives Nova 2001 will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Hamster is bringing Nova 2001 to Switch this week as the system’s latest Arcade Archives game, the company has confirmed. A worldwide release is planned for July 29.

Nova 2001 originally released in 1984 by Universal. It’s a horizontal shooter in which the player controls a ship that can shoot enemies in 8 directions.

Hamster has announced that it plans to release Crime Fighters 2 as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. The platformer will release on July 22.

Crime Fighters 2 is a side scrolling beat-em-up developed and published by Konami in 1991 under the title Vendetta outside of Japan. It is a sequel to the 1989 game Crime Fighters.

Pricing for Crime Fighters 2 is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Hamster has announced that it plans to release Darwin 4078 as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. The platformer will release on July 15.

Darwin 4078 is a vertical shoot-em-up released by Data East in 1986. The game involves evolving a ship over 16 levels to make it stronger.

Sea Fighter Poseidon is a sidescroller shoot em up released by Taito in 1984. In it, the player has to rescue hostages and defeat attackers underwater.

During a live stream this week, Famitsu offered up a look at the latest Arcade Archives games on Switch, Seicross and Samurai-Fighter Shingen. Footage of both can be seen in the video below.

Arcade Archives Raiden

Hamster has given the early word on next week’s Arcade Archives game for Switch. Raiden will be available worldwide on July 1, the company announced today.

Seibu Kaihatsu was behind Raiden, which debuted in 1990. The vertical shooter is set in the year 2090 as players look to defeat the alien species known as the Crystals.

Hamster is bringing Takeda Shingen (Samurai-Fighter Shingen) to Switch this week as the system’s latest Arcade Archives game, the company has confirmed. A worldwide release is planned for June 24.

Takeda Shingen originally released in 1988. It’s a side-scrolling brawler originally made by Jaleco.
