Itorah

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Grimbart Tales have announced that Itorah has just landed on Switch. You can pick it up digitally on the eShop.

Itorah is a 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania game that’s deeply ingrained in Mesoamerican style and themes. Players take on the role of the titular Itorah, the only human in the strange and unexplored lands of Nahucan.

Klaus Lee: Thunderballs

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer NUKKLEAR today announced Klaus Lee: Thunderballs, a new 2D action platformer. Switch owners can expect it later in 2023.

The game has players taking on the role of Klaus Lee as they find out what it means to become the most impressive hero the world has never heard of. More information can be found in the following overview:

Lacuna physical

Thanks to a new partnership between Red Art Games and Assemble Entertainment, Lacuna physical will be receiving a physical release on Switch.

Only a standard edition is planned, but it sounds like an unlimited number of copies will be produced. Each unit includes a double-sided poster.

Orbital Bullet update 1.1.0 Over 9000

Orbital Bullet has only been on Switch for a little while, but new content has already arrived in the form of an update known as “Over 9000”.

The action-platformer has received hundreds of QoL improvements, buffed weapons, and reward system overhauls. Overall, the patch is about addressing player feedback.

Assemble Entertainment and SmokeStab have shared a launch trailer for Orbital Bullet, their action-platformer. After the title was announced for the console just a couple of weeks ago, it has already launched.

Between Horizons

Today, publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer DigiTales Interactive revealed Between Horizons. The 2.5D pixel art sci-fi adventure launches for Switch in Q4 2023.

Between Horizons “challenges players to uncover the mysteries of their ship, the Zephyr, but with a catch: there’s only one shot to get it right. Explore the ship’s unique areas, get to know its inhabitants, and find clues that establish story connections until the full picture reveals itself – or not.” We have more information below.

Lacuna 1.0.3 update

Lacuna players on Switch have access to a new update, with version 1.0.3 having gone live recently.

Various improvements and fixes are included here. Different elements of the game have been improved, including polishing, UI, and art assets. Per usual, there are many bug fixes as well.

Publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced that Fall of the Porcupine will launch for Switch next year. Developed by and BUNTSPECHT.GAMES, the game is a story adventure inspired by Night in the Woods, and will explore themes such as the difficulties faced by healthcare workers whilst the player looks to uncover the mysteries surrounding the town of Porcupine.

Additional information about the game is expected to be revealed this coming Friday, August 26, as part of IGN’s Awesome Indies Show at Gamescom, and a free prologue titled Last Days of Summer is already available on Steam, although it is not currently known if this will come to Switch.
