With The Alliance Alive making its way west on 3DS today, Atlus has prepared a launch trailer. You can see the video below.

Atlus is also planning a trio of free 3DS themes. No dates yet, but they’ll be out “in the near future.” Keep an eye on Atlus’ social media channels for release timing.

Atlus has uploaded a new video showcasing an unboxing of The Alliance Alive Launch Edition. View it below.

The Alliance Alive Launch Edition includes the game, a 38-page art book, and 20-track OST.

Atlus began offering a demo for The Alliance Alive in North America and Europe this week. Take a look at some footage below.

Development is currently underway for Shin Megami Tensei V on Switch, though it’ll likely be some time until its release. Shin Megami Tensei IV, meanwhile, has been out for a while now – in two versions no less, SMT IV and SMT IV: Apocalypse (subtitled “Final” in Japan). If you own a Japanese 3DS and have been meaning to catch up on SMT IV, Atlus has got you covered: on April 19, the Shin Megami Tensei IV Double Hero Pack will be released in Japan, which will contain both the standard game and SMT IV: Final. It will cost 4,980 Yen.

No word yet on whether or not this will be released in the West, though it seems somewhat unlikely.

We’re about a month away from The Alliance Alive’s western launch. If you’re interested in seeing what the game has to offer, you can download a demo from the 3DS eShop. The trial is now available in North America and will begin distribution on Thursday in Europe.

Here’s what you can expect from the demo:

In the demo, you’ll be able to experience the very first steps of Galil and Azura’s adventure as they set out from The Rain Realm in search of a blue sky and get a taste of The Alliance Alive’s unique turn-based battle system. Additionally, if you complete the demo, you’ll earn a bonus of up to 4,000 Talent Points to help build up your characters’ abilities quickly once you start your adventure in the full game!

The Alliance Alive launches for 3DS on March 27. It’ll be sold physically and digitally in the Americas and digitally in Europe.

Back in December, Shin Megami Tensei V producer Kazuyuki Yamai said that the game’s development was in a “scrap-and-build phase.” But in a new interview with 4Gamer, Yamai has indicated that full-scale development has now started.

4Gamer asked about the status of Shin Megami Tensei V in a recent interview. In response, Yamai stated (as translated by Persona Central):

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is out today on 3DS. We have the official launch trailer from Atlus below.

System: 3DS
Release date: February 13, 2018
Developer: Atlus
Publisher: Atlus

It amazes me how even after years of incredible games from a system’s lifecycle, we have been consistently impressed with the “cherry on top”, if you will, at the very end that leaves its mark and gives players one last hoorah before the inevitable new generation. It was Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Wii U for example, and now Radiant Historia on 3DS. With Radiant Historia, we can revisit one of the titles that made the DS so great, and gladly add it to the 3DS’ ineffable library of RPGs. It’s an encore that shows nothing but respect for the craft, the legacy of the DS and 3DS, as well as the genre as whole.

Atlus has sent out a bunch of news about Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. We have an update regarding a demo, 3DS theme, the game’s DLC schedule, and launch edition.

North America and Europe are both getting a Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology demo today. The same goes for the new 3DS theme, which is entirely free.

The western release of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is fast approaching, a ton of footage has come in showing the English build. Get a look at 2 hours of gameplay below.
