Jack Jeanne is seeing its second delay. After it was originally planned for August 5, the game was bumped back to December 3. Broccoli has now decided to shift the release date to March 18, 2021 in Japan.

Regarding the delay of its “shounen opera simulation game”, Broccoli said:

Broccoli has released a new trailer for their upcoming rhythm-opera, investigation game Jack Jeanne. This almost 2 minute trailer shows off some of the characters and settings as well as some gameplay. It also gives a brief introduction to the story, although entirely in Japanese.

Developer Broccoli have announced that the upcoming otome game Jack Jeanne has been delayed from its August 5th Japanese release date to December 3rd 2020. The game is currently set for a Japanese release only, with no English localisation announced yet.

The delay was revealed in a new teaser for the game, which you can see below.

Previously announced for release in Japan on August 5, 2020, a new trailer has dropped for Jack Jeanne. While there is no gameplay footage for this combination rhythm/simulator experience, there is a splash of music with some character art.

Brocoli has dated Jack Jeanne, the “girls opera” game from Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida. It will release in Japan on August 5, 2020, the company announced today.

Fans will be able to get their hands on a “Universe Collection” limited edition for 12,300 yen. It includes a copy of the game, special box, art book, short novel titled “Another” (character stories not told in the game), original drama CD, and vocal collection CD.

Broccoli today announced the “girls opera” game Jack Jeanne for Switch. The project, which is from Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida, will release next year in Japan.

Jack Jeanne will feature simulation gameplay in which the player deepens bonds with classmates as protagonist Kisa Tachibana while aiming for the lead role in the school play at the end of the year. Rhythm gameplay is also included where the player can enjoy dance performances with 3D characters.
