Nicalis is bringing Code of Princess EX to Switch at the very end of this month. Have a look at some early footage below.

Code of Princess launches on Switch next month. But as some of you may recall, it was originally a 3DS game.

A blog post shared by Nicalis this week goes over the improvements and new content for the Switch version. Co-op, redrawn artwork, and enhanced ability are included.

Code of Princess EX

Earlier in the week, we heard that Code of Princess EX will be landing in Japan on August 2. Nicalis has now announced that the overseas release will take place a few days earlier. Code of Princess EX launches July 31 in North America and Europe.

Code of Princess EX has secured a release date – at least in Japan. Publisher Pikii announced that it will be available on August.

Nicalis will be handling Code of Princess EX in the west. It’s currently on track for this summer, though a specific date has not yet been announced.

Code of Princess EX is a hack-and-slash game that originally appeared on 3DS. The Switch version features HD visuals, local co-op, plus “numerous other gameplay additions and enhancements.” Fans can expect “smarter AI, updated balancing, a new character leveling-up system and overall better playability.”

Today, Nicalis announced that Code of Princess EX is in development for Switch. It’s due out physically and digitally this summer.

Code of Princess was originally made for 3DS. Atlus published the action-RPG way back in 2012.
