Toys for Bob working on the new Switch version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Activision originally brought in Vicarious Visions to create Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. While the collection lined up for Switch is still very much their work, a separate developer appears to be on board for the Switch release. Toys for Bob, known for the Skylanders series, is helping to put Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for Switch – at least that’s what Nintendo’s website says.
Vicarious Visions could have its hands busy with a separate project. Based on what we’ve seen of the Switch version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy though, there shouldn’t be much to worry about.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy removes Naughty Dog Easter eggs on Switch

Naughty Dog originally worked on the Crash games for the PlayStation many years ago. For Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, some Easter eggs were included that paid respect to the studio.
A few different references were in the collection, such as a Naughty Dog sticker and a picture of Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series. Now that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is coming to Switch, it seems that these Easter eggs have been removed (and on other platforms as well).
Rumor: More talk of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for Switch
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch | 13 Comments
Rumors of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for Switch reemerged this weekend from a somewhat random place. Hidden away inside the Spring 2018 edition of Licensing Source Book Europe was a comment from GB Eye, a European supplier of licensed merchandise. That’s where a five-year plan for Crash Bandicoot was mentioned, which would encompass a Switch port of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and a new game entirely next year.
Eurogamer is now backing up GB Eye’s claim. The site has heard from its own sources that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is lined up for Switch. That still doesn’t count as confirmation, but adds more fuel to the fire that an announcement could be coming soon.
Rumor: Merchandising company says Activision has a 5-year plan for Crash Bandicoot, includes N. Sane Trilogy Switch port

Speculation about a potential Switch version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is back in the spotlight – for the moment anyway.
DHX Brands published a new “Licensing Source Book Europe” for Spring 2018, and has some comments from merchandising company GB Eye. Max Arguile, who works there as as a licensing manager, claims that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be brought to Switch. This is part of a five-year plan in which another Crash game will supposedly launch in 2022.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy currently listed for Switch on Keymailer

Update: The dream is dead, for now anyway. Keymailer’s co-founder says the listing was an error.
Keymailer co-founder here. This was news to me when I saw this thread. I reached out to the management team and apparently this is, sadly, an error on our side. The game was incorrectly tagged when we imported the upcoming releases.
Apologies on behalf of the company for any disappointment on this, as a Switch owner and a fan of Crash Bandicoot, I would have been as excited to play this.
Original: Keymailer is a company that connects YouTube and Twitch content creators to games publishers and developers via review codes. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is currently listed for the Switch on Keymailer’s site. While this is likely an error, this would not be the first time the Crash Bandicoot series has appeared on Nintendo hardware, and there has been some inconsistent information whether the title would be a Sony exclusive.
