Dave the Diver recently received a new update, which is version 1.0.1.598.
The update is highlighted by a new mini-game, the ability to replace the lighting in the sushi restaurant interior, and Italian language support. Elsewhere there are a ton of improvements, changes, and bug fixes.

Dave the Diver x Godzilla DLC confirmed for Switch, out in May

The Godzilla DLC for Dave the Diver will be released on Switch, it’s been confirmed.
The DLC was first announced last month. However, there was very little information at the time, including which platforms it would be on. With a new trailer though, we can officially say Switch will be joining in on the fun.

Dave the Diver sales surpass three million

Today, Mintrocket announced that Dave the Diver has sold over three million copies. That milestone accounts for both the Switch and PC versions combined worldwide.
Dave the Diver originally released in October 2022. The Switch version just followed the following October, so it’s only been available for a few months.

Dave the Diver players can now get their hands on a new version 1.0.0.511 update.
The update is highlighted by support for the new Dredge DLC, which was announced at The Game Awards last week. That’s not all though – Bancho Sushi will now be decorated on special days, loading times have been improved on Switch, and more.

Dave the Diver x Dredge DLC pack announced

During The Game Awards 2023, it was announced that Dave the Diver is collaborating with Dredge with a new DLC pack. It’s slated for December 15, 2023.
New fish types, new recipes, and a new NPC from the world of Dredge will be added to the game. Here’s a rundown of the different content:

Dave the Diver’s first content update will be on Switch at launch

Dave the Diver just received its first content update on PC, and we have confirmation that when the game hits Switch later this month, everything that’s new will be available at launch.
This is the first big update for Dave the Diver since it’s version 1.0 debut. The game is adding a fresh questline, new event boss, novel species, and more.

Dave the Diver Switch release date set for October

As was shared during today’s Nintendo Direct, the Switch version of Dave the Diver has received a release date. Expect to see it on October 26, 2023. Note that a demo is also available today.
Dave the Diver was previously confirmed for Switch in June. Only a general 2023 launch window was initially provided.
