Defiant Development has confirmed that new DLC is live for Hand of Fate 2… in some parts of the world at least. Switch owners in Europe have access to Outlands and Outsiders & The Servant and the Beast right now. Players in North America can get their hands on the content starting November 9.

Also note that there is also a free update this week for everyone. The Goblin Faction, Shadow Faction and Combat Reforged add-on packs will be made available at no extra cost.

Hand of Fate 2

Several months ago, Defiant Development expressed interest in bringing Hand of Fate 2 to Switch. Today, it was made official. Hand of Fate 2 is indeed releasing on Switch, and it’s just a week away.

Hand of Fate 2 is an acclaimed action RPG. The Switch version will include all DLC add-ons that have been made available on PC from its November launch through April, with more content coming later.

Hand of Fate 2 is a possibility for Switch. Developer Defiant Development is looking into it at least. In an interview about Hand of Fate 2, communications manager Lee May said, “it’s definitely something we’re investigating.”

May’s full words:

“Definitely a possibility, but we’re not promising anything yet. The Switch is very popular around the studio and we recognize that the mobile format is a lovely fit for Hand of Fate’s gameplay. We don’t have anything to announce on the platform at the moment, but it’s definitely something we’re investigating. There are a ton of fantastic indies on the Switch right now, and we’d love to join them.”

If Hand of Fate 2 were to make it to Switch, it would be yet another well-loved indie series on the platform.
