Fire Emblem Heroes

A series of Quests are now available for Fire Emblem Heroes, each focused on a different weapon. The Sword Mastery, Lance Mastery, and Axe Mastery Quests task players with using teams comprised of those weapons to complete certain tasks. Doing so will earn Orbs (up to 6), Crystals, Shards, Badges, and Great Badges. The event runs until February 27 at 2:00 AM. The full list of Quests is after the break:

Nintendo had a little bit of a tease to share about Fire Emblem Heroes at Cipher Festival 2017 WEST. Two of the game’s directors stopped by, and teased a new event involving friends.

Currently, details about the event are pretty much non-existent. We only know that it will be going live sometime next month.

Fire Emblem Heroes is granting units 1.5 times the regular amount of experience for a period of time. The event will run until February 23.

The new Fire Emblem Heroes “Family Bonds” event kicked off a couple of hours ago, bringing in new characters and maps. Get a closer look with the footage below.

Nintendo has released footage of the new Fire Emblem Heroes characters – Eirika, Seliph, Ephraim, and Julia – in a small trailer. You can watch it below:

Fire Emblem Heroes has received a new update which adds four new Heroes:

  • Eirika: Restoration Lady
  • Seliph: Heir of Light
  • Ephraim: Restoration Lord
  • Julia: Naga’s Blood
  • The update also adds new maps to the Story Maps section. The set features three new Paralogue maps. Players can earn an orb every time they beat a map on each difficulty, for a total of 9 more orbs. There are also new quests associated with the missions available.

    The Summoning Event and the Quests will run until February 27 at 2 AM EST. The data requires a 10.6 MB download.

    Fire Emblem Heroes is making a change in early March. In a notice sent out to players, Nintendo says that “Units will be able to earn EXP when defeating foes that are much lower levels.”

    The same notice also contains information about a couple of extensions and rewards. Nintendo states the following:

    – The App-Release Bonus period will be extended to 3/14/17 at 2:59 AM.
    – The Worldwide Launch Celebration will be extended indefinitely, so the stamina cost for the Training Tower will stay halved and for equipping skills will remain at 0.
    – Rewards will be added to the Training Tower between Monday at 2:00 AM and Tuesday at 1:59 AM, starting 2/20/17 at 2:00 AM.

    A new special map, Part 2: Launch Celebration, is available for Fire Emblem Heroes. The map has a normal and hard versions, each of which will earn you 3 orbs for beating the first time. The map will be available until March 14.

    The latest regular live stream was held for Fire Emblem 0 just a short while ago. Plenty of announcements were shared about the trading card game, but there was also some surprise news pertaining to Fire Emblem Heroes.

    Seliph and Julia from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War are joining Fire Emblem Heroes. Additionally, Ephraim and Eirika from The Sacred Stones are on the way.

    Director Shingo Matsushita stopped by the stream to make the announcement. Unfortunately, a specific date for the new characters wasn’t announced, but you can expect to see them soon.

    The first Grand Hero Battle is live in Fire Emblem Heroes, and it pits players against the Wyvern General Narcian (from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade). The challenge will end on February 14 at 1:59 AM (EST). The battle is challenging on both Normal and Hard difficulty levels. The Normal version is Lv. 25 and requires 10 Stamina, while the Hard is Lv. 35 and requires 15 Stamina. Furthermore, you must have all four of your units alive in the end, and you may not use Light’s Blessing. A few screenshots of the event are below:
