Forager

Humble Bundle and HopFrog have prepared a massive update for the Switch version of Forager. The game has received new modes, new biomes, new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

Here’s a full rundown of version 4.1.3:

Following their previous releases on the Switch eShop, Forager and Killer Queen Black are out now physically in stores. We have a quick look at both in the video below.

Forger has had a couple of big patches over the past few months. Specifically, the “Combat” and “Appreciate” updates add new areas, modes, features and more. Neither of these have been on Switch yet, but they’ll be released in due time.

Developer HopFrog said on Twitter this week that console updates are handled by another team. That being said, the “Combat” and “Appreciation” patches should be hitting “soon”.

Forager

Forager is out now on the Switch eShop, and some footage has now appeared. Take a look at the gameplay in the video below.

Update (7/8): Forager’s physical version officially launches September 10 in North America for $29.99 and in Europe on September 13 with equivalent pricing. Copies will include an exclusive poster and stickers.


Original (7/7): Forager is arriving on the Switch eShop at the very end of this month. But if you can hold out a couple of months after of that, you’ll be able to find a physical version in stores.

GameFly and GameStop are currently listing Forager for retail. In fact, GameStop even has the following (small) look at the boxart:

The 2D open world game Forager has received a release date on Switch. The title will be available digitally on July 30, Humble Bundle and HopFrog have announced.
