Mario Kart World

Mario Kart World boxart

Nintendo has come through with the official Mario Kart World boxart, attached above. Additionally, we have an official set of screenshots.

Below is an overview of the game:

The first game price for Nintendo Switch 2 is in, and it turns out that Mario Kart World will cost $80.

This is by far the most amount for a title in the industry thus far. Even across other consoles, the standard had started to become $70. Most of Nintendo’s Switch 1 games were priced at $60, though Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was at $70.

In what will come as no surprise to many, Nintendo officially revealed Mario Kart World for Switch 2 today. It launches alongside the new hardware.

Various elements were shown in the first trailer, including wall grinding and wall jumping, costumes, and more. Time of day and weather conditions will impact the atmosphere. Additionally, you can go off the race track. There’s still Grand Prix, but you’ll drive to the next course as part of the next competition. Knockout Tour has you racing nonstop from one part of the world to another with multiple checkpoints that cause elimination. Free Roam is also included in which you can freely drive around the world.
