Mario Party DS

Nintendo released official videos for Sin and Punishment and Mario Party DS on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Watch them below.

Mario Party DS is out now for the Wii U Virtual Console in both North America and Europe. Here’s some footage from the game:

In Europe, Mario Party 2 and Mario Party DS are due out on the European Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow. Nintendo’s website confirms that North America will be getting one of these games this week.

As of tomorrow, Mario Party DS will be available on the North American eShop. It’ll be priced at $9.99.

Here’s a brief overview:

“Mario and his friends have been shrunk down by Bowser, and they’re ready to foil his latest scheme! Play as one of eight characters in four game modes, five themed game boards, and over 70 minigames. Take turns moving around the board to reach first place, or get immersed in constant minigame action!”


Several new titles are coming to the Japanese eShop on April 27. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital downloads:

Like Fred Durst, our series of “Best of DS” lists keeps on rollin’ with a double feature of the top five most under-appreciated and disappointing titles on the console. Let’s start off with the good and recognise the games that might have scored well with critics, but fell under the radar for whatever reason.

Even though I’m happy with the games you guys picked, the “most under-appreciated” might also be the “most unnecessary” list, because how do you use a popularity contest to determine if something is the most under-appreciated? Of course, the deepest cuts were the ones that didn’t get enough votes to make the list so consider the real victors to be Bangai-O Spirits and Kira Kira: Pop Princess:
