Spirit of the Island update

The Switch version of Spirit of the Island was updated this week with some new content and more.

New Story mode is the highlight of the patch. Overall players can access roughly 25 hours of extra gameplay. Also included are the Adventureland and Beach Resort DLCs with all of their content for free.

Here’s the full rundown of the update:

Biped 2

Biped 2 is heading to Switch and other platforms, Meta Publishing and Next Studios announced today. The game is currently targeting a 2025 launch.

Biped 2 is another co-op action adventure game with new movement types, support for four-player co-op (up from two in the last entry), and more. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Spirit of the Island release date

PID Games, Meta Publishing, and 1 Million Bits Horde have come through with a release date for Spirit of the Island. On Switch and other platforms, it’s launching October 19, 2023.

Spirit of the Island, a life sim RPG, was first made known for Switch earlier in the year. When we heard about the game, there was no news on launch timing as it was in Early Access for PC.

Publisher Meridiem Games announced today that it will produce a physical version for Spirit of the Island on Switch. It will be available this fall.

Meridiem Games will be responsible for the creation, publishing and European distribution of the special boxed Paradise Edition of Spirit of the Island. It will include a special cover with new artwork, an exclusive set of stickers featuring some of the island’s inhabitants, and a tour guide so you don’t miss any of the wonderful activities on your island.

PID Games, in partnership with Meta Publishing and 1M Bits Horde, has announced Spirit of the Island for Switch. There’s no word on release timing currently.

The title kicks off with players ending up on a distant island, which was previously populated by tourists. It’s now your mission to bring it back to life by exploring the archipelago, chatting with locals, and helping them restore the land. Oh, and you’ll have your own mysteries to discover from your past.

Time Loader gameplay

Time Loader ended up on Switch this week, and gameplay has since emerged. Just over a half hour of footage is in for the physics-based puzzle-platformer.

Meta Publishing and developer Flazm have issued a launch trailer for Time Loader, their physics-based puzzle platformer. This comes ahead of the title’s arrival on Switch later in the week.

META Publishing and developer Flazm have announced that Time Loader, a physics-based puzzle platformer, is making its way to Switch. Players on Nintendo’s console can pick up the title in 2022.

The game’s story has players controlling a quirky RC robot who travels back to the 90s to prevent a tragic accident. They’ll be navigating levels as they attempt to rewrite the past, save the future, and help their creator accept the present.

The third-person sci-fi adventure game The Uncertain: Light at the End was previously announced for Switch, but it’s now seeing a delay. All console versions are now launching in 2021, New Game Order and META Publishing announced today.
