Bandai Namco has dropped a new gameplay trailer for My Hero One’s Justice 2 on their official YouTube page. The new gameplay shows a flashy battle between series staple Deku and Overhaul. The full trailer is available to view below. 

My Hero One’s Justice 2 launches on Switch on March 13, 2020.

Something that was quietly tucked away in today’s My Hero One’s Justice 2 trailer is a brand new collector’s edition. Bandai Namco will be including the game, a steelbook, light-up Deku figure, Shikishi board, acrylic keychain set of two keychains, and a pin set. Also, those who pre-order will gain early access to Nomu and two mystery characters who will be revealed soon.

The My Hero One’s Justice 2 will be sold in both North America and Europe. Pricing is set at $129.99.

My Hero One's Justice 2

A new trailer has been released for My Hero One’s Justice 2, detailing a new 4-player battle mode, as well as character introductions for playable characters. Viewers can take a look at footage featuring Sir Nighteye, Overhaul (Kai Chisaki), BMI Hero: Fat Gum, Tamaki Amajiki, Nejire Hado, Mina Ashido, Minoru Mineta, Mr. Compress, and Twice. This trailer also shows off a four-player battle mode where sidekicks come into play in a 2-on-2 versus mode. You can see examples of stage destruction, which can change your surroundings mid-battle, as well as some of the revamped customization options that feature new attachable items. The latest issue of Weekly Jump had a lot of gaming news for anime and manga fans. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto was announced for Switch, Fat Gum, Mr. Compress, and Twice were revealed for My Hero One’s Justice 2, and Kaido and Big Mom were confirmed for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.

This week’s issue of Jump has revealed three more playable characters for My Hero One’s Justice 2. Fat Gum, Mr. Compress, and Twice are all now confirmed for the roster.

Fat Gum is able to absorb attacks from opponents, and gets thinner after releasing it. Mr. Compress has his Compress Quirk on opponents. Finally, Twice is capable of using a clone.

Jump also mentions a 2v2 mode for My Hero One’s Justice 2. The mode, which supports up to four players, involves one team member becoming the Sidekick that helps as a support role. Players can team up with a player locally to take on opponents online as well.

Bandai Namco has readied a new commercial for My Hero One’s Justice 2. Get a look at the Japanese advert below.

My Hero One's Justice 2

The Japanese website for My Hero One’s Justice 2 has updated with some technical information. When docked, the game will run at 1080p. The resolution lowers to the natural 720p resolution in portable mode. Finally, frame rate is expected to be 30 FPS.

This is mostly similar to the first My Hero One’s Justice. However, in the original game, resolution would max out at 720p regardless of play mode.

Last week, it was revealed that My Hero One’s Justice 2 will be launching on March 12, 2020 in Japan. Bandai Namco has now followed up with news for the west. The game will be launching just one day later in North America and Europe, as it’s planned for March 13, 2020.
