Aka now has a final release date on Switch. The game will be available on December 15, 2022, it’s been announced.

Skul: The Hero Slayer update 1.5.2

A new update is here for Skul: The Hero Slayer on Switch, with the game moving up to version 1.5.2.

Lots of changes have been made to the skulls, items, and inscriptions. Additionally, the team has implemented many different bug fixes.

SANABI

SANABI has been on PC for about a month, but we now have confirmation that a Switch port is in the works. Publisher Neowiz and developer Wonder Potion made the announcement today.

SANABI is officially described as “an exhilarating stylish dystopian action-platformer.” You’ll take on the role of a legendary retired veteran while using a prosthetic arm to jump over cliffs and skyscrapers, zip through bullets and traps, and defeat enemies.

Aka

Publisher Neowiz and developer Cosmic Gatto today unveiled Aka, a wholesome open-world adventure game. It will release on Switch in Q4 2022.

The title has you playing as Aka, a retired red panda soldier seeking inner peace. His goal is to seek out Ghosts to bring them closure while simultaneously settling on a small island and building his home.

8Doors: Arum's Afterlife Adventure

Neowiz has announced that Rootless Studio’s Metroidvania-style game 8Doors: Arum’s Afterlife Adventure has just come to Switch as a surprise announcement. It can be purchased now on the eShop.

Unsouled release date

Unsouled was only just announced for Switch last week, but it already has a release date. Even better, the 2D action RPG isn’t very far away. It’s been announced that the game will launch on April 28, 2022.

Skul The Hero Slayer physical

The action-platformer Skul: The Hero Slayer, which first appeared on Switch in October, has now been confirmed for physical release.

Merge Games is teaming up with Neowiz and SouthPAW Games to bring the action-platformer to retail. Along with a standard version, a Signature Edition is planned. The latter version has special goodies including a soundtrack CD, art card, keychain, and enamel pins. All copies of both the standard and Signature Edition come with a booklet and digital soundtrack code.

Metal Unit update

Metal Unit has received a bunch of new content, as publisher Neowiz and developer JellySnow Studio started distribution of an update this week on Switch.

Players can now randomly access a brand new dungeon known as “The Ruins” as they work their way through Chapter 4 of the main game. Ten powerful new equipment items have been added as well, including the Holonade, Phase Boots, and SDA-Hammer. New skins, achievements, and fixes and improvements are also included.
