Pikmin Bloom new community features

Niantic has detailed some new community features for Pikmin Bloom, including a new kind of Weekly Challenge and an invite feature. The developer has also confirmed that it’s planning real life events at select locations in the U.S.

Here’s the full rundown:

A new update has just gone live for Pikmin Bloom, adding a handful of small bug fixes and QoL features to the game. These features include being able to see the bonus coins you get from flower planting and event bonuses being displayed while in the planter or walk views.

The newest version of Pikmin Bloom has been released, and this update adds a couple of features and fixes some bugs. The new features include the ability to change the time of the daily lookback and recharge the detector at the shop.

The next Community Day has been announced for Pikmin Bloom, and it will be coming on May 21, 2022. During this day, players can expect these special bonuses while playing:

  • Big Flowers will bloom into roses when you plant regular blue, red, yellow, or white petals around them
  • Players achieving the 10,000 step goal on this day will be awarded a special Rose Flower Badge
  • Seedlings in your planter pack will grow at 1.5x the usual speed (and more, if you’re flower planting!)
  • Receive 1 bonus coin per 250 flowers planted instead of the usual 500 (capped at 60 coins/day)

Also, players can obtain special fruits that hold rose nectar after every challenge they complete. For more information check the official blog.

 

Pikmin Bloom has just received a new version update, bringing the game to version 44.0. This update is notably adding weekly challenges to the game, as well as an activity list to help track your progress. You can check out the full patch notes for the update below.

Pikmin Bloom Weekly Challenges

Niantic has announced that starting this week, Pikmin Bloom will offer Weekly Challenges. These will allow players to tackle different objectives with friends, even those located far away.

The first challenge has already been confirmed: work with friends to hit 50,000 steps. Players can participate by forming a group with up to five people or join groups formed by friends’ friends until the group limit is met.

Niantic has put out a new version 43.0 update for Pikmin Bloom on iOS and Android. Most notably, the update makes some changes to AR Mode. Full details are below:

Niantic has announced that the April 2022 Community Day for Pikmin Bloom is set to take place all day on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Players will enjoy seeing colorful tulips blooming along their paths as well as the following event bonuses:
