Pokemon Masters

The latest update for Pokemon Masters is now live, bringing the version number to 1.11.0. Players can now enjoy raising Pokemon by hatching eggs, among other things. Check out the full patch notes with details on all the new features and fixes below:

Pokemon Masters is currently hosting a Steel-type training event. Make sure to take advantage of the event to raise the levels and power of your sync pairs. Additionally, Hoenn region’s famous Steven Stone is now the focus of a Poke Fair scout event. Players have the chance of adding Steven and his partner Metagross to their sync pairs. Will you be chasing after this sync pair? If not, which sync pairs will you be leveling in the training event?

The Challenge Unova event has begun in Pokemon Masters. Previous event “The Importance of Elegance” is getting a second run as well, so if you missed out the first time, you can take the time now to go through and reap the rewards. Additionally, a new Spotlight Scout is live, allowing players the chance to add the Sync Pair of Burgh and Leavanny to their lists.

The Producers of Pokemon Masters have released a letter discussing what is coming soon to the game. In this letter, they discuss new additions such as Egg Events, the ability to battle champions similar to the Pokemon League, and seasonal sync pairs.

Then they delve into revisions coming to systems already in the game like Sync Pair changes and battle timers. The whole letter is available to read below so feel free to check it out.

It would appear that good things are on the horizon for players of Pokemon Masters. DeNA have announced some new upcoming elements to the game, including streamlining the process of upgrading your existing sync pairs. You can also look forward to the following:

  • New Sygna Suit and Seasonal Outfits for characters will appear more frequently.
  • A new battle feature for battling Champions will be introduced, allowing players to battle through the Elite Four and then the Champion. This mode allows battle with multiple Sync Pairs such as the Battle Villa and Legendary events.
  • New Egg Events will be added in July, including a chance to get a Shiny Pokémon through hatching eggs.
  • A stamina feature will be introduced to the game, draining over time when taking actions like battling in theMain Story, Level-Up Area, Cap-Unlock Area, Sync Orb Area, Evolution Area, or participating in Legendary Events.
  • The Training Area will be renamed EX Plaza and the courses within will be changed to focus on Level Up, Cap Unlock, Sync Orb or Evolution Material with the stages focusing on giving items each type, with a maximum of 10 attempts per day in places like the Sync Orb area.
  • Features will be susceptible to player feedback, so be sure to be vocal with how you feel about the changes.

A special Celebrate Pokémon gift rally has begun in Pokémon Masters to celebrate the release of Pokémon Sword & Shield – Isle of Armor with characters discussing the location and characters when you speak to them. Login every day to receive special bonuses to help upgrade your sync pairs. The event will run until June 24th, so there will be plenty of freebies to be had.

Medals have been added to Pokemon Masters in the update (version 1.10.5) and are obtainable by meeting set conditions during certain battles and missions.

A section in the Poryphone is dedicated to these medals and it lets players view information on medals already collected as well as see how to earn new ones. There is also an option to set a favorite medal that is visible for others to see on your Friend List.

Players of Pokemon Masters can now take advantage of the water-type training event. The event will run until June 18th, and players can earn a variety of rewards to increase the power of their sync pairs. There are several stages to complete, so be sure to conquer them all.

Additionally, the Daily Vouchers event is still going strong — players can continue to earn rewards based on the amount of vouchers they collect.

A new update for Pokemon Masters has been released (version 1.10.0) and is about 36.5MB to download. This update brings minor fixes to bugs found in the previous build as well as adding a small feature where you can go directly to Events or the Sync Pair Scout from the News page.

The full patch notes are included below:

Pokemon Master’s producer Yu Sasaki has released a new letter (#10) which gives details on upcoming events as well as explaining the use of recently updated features.

First, he talks about the new Tactics feature and how to optimize your team. But then he gets right into the new content, detailing the new Legendary Arena battles and how the opponents in these battles will work. The opponents in the Legendary Arena will have high HP and the attack patterns of these Pokemon will change when their HP is decreased- meaning that switching Sync Pairs will be very important for this battle. It appears that Entei will be the first Pokemon added to the arena.

Then Sasaki talks about the plans to improve existing features like reorganizing battles that reward items, reducing time spent battling for items, and setting a maximum number of playable battles per day. The full text of this letter is available in the source below to anyone who would like to know more specifics about these features.
