Original: If you’re playing Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon, you may want to avoid saving in Pokemon Centers and the Battle Tree for the time being. Some users are reporting various issues when doing so. You may encounter a glitch, or your save file could be ruined.

Here’s a look at what happened when one person booted up his game after saving in the Pokemon Center, in which the character model did not load properly:

Hopefully a patch for these issues is issued shortly. We did see similar problems with Pokemon X/Y, but Game Freak did create an update to address them.

Did you know that you can high-five Pokemon in Pokemon Sun/Moon? If you’re in Pokemon Refresh and tap the screen above one of your party members, the cute move will be triggered.

Apparently not all Pokemon will be up for a high-five. Polygon writes that creatures that it works best with creatures that more closely resemble animals. Litten, Growlithe, Meowth and other bi- and quadripedal Pokemon will be fine with sharing a high-five.


Unsurprisingly, Pokemon Sun/Moon boot up much quicker on New 3DS systems compared to the old 3DS. YouTube user bagszipoke provides an exact comparison in the video below.

Game Freak has a habit of including its office in the Pokemon RPGs. The tradition still holds true in the latest games, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. A video showing Game Freak’s office is posted below.

Most Pokemon in Pokemon Sun/Moon evolve naturally. In other words, once they reach a certain level, they’ll move on to their next form. There are quite a exceptions, however. Some Pokemon have special conditions that need to be met before they evolve.

Kotaku now has a list up that goes over many of these exceptions. With new Pokemon introduced this generation, it certainly comes in handy. Continue on below for the information.
