New Adventure Time, Falling Skies playable at San Diego Comic-Con 2014

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom and Falling Skies: The Game will be playable at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 this week, Little Orbit announced today. Fans can go hands-on with both titles in the Cartoon Network ConQuest redemption center located outside the convention center on the grassy area in front of The New Children’s Museum.
A trailer for Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is debuting at Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time panel on July 25. Also on Friday, the first trailer for Falling Skies: The Game will be shown at TNT’s panel for the series.

Super Smash Bros. Facebook page teases “a few special surprises” for Comic-Con

The official Super Smash Bros. Facebook page is teasing “a few special surprises” for San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
The message reads:
This year’s Comic-Con will take place between July 24 and July 27. Nintendo will be streaming from the expo on July 25 and July 26.

Nintendo has announced its full lineup for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. With nearly twenty playable first and third-party games playable as well as other activities planned, the company will be having its “biggest presence at Comic-Con ever.”
First, let’s talk playable games. The following titles will be on display at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge on the first floor of the Marriott Marquis & Marina hotel, an area open to the general public that does not require a Comic-Con badge:

Sonic Boom playable at San Diego Comic-Con 2014

SEGA’s San Diego Comic-Con 2014 lineup is in. Sonic Boom will be playable, in addition to Alien: Isolation and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd.
All of these titles will be on display at Petco Park – located at 100 Park Blvd right across the street from the San Diego Convention center. You won’t need a Comic-Con badge in order to experience SEGA’s lineup.

Nintendo holding Smash Bros. 3DS tournament at San Diego Comic-Con

Nintendo has announced the first-ever Super Smash Bros. for 3DS tournament, which is set to take place at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Fans can have a shot at participating by visiting the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the Marriott Marquis & Marina located at 333 W. Harbor Drive.
Here’s an overview as to how the tournament will work:
Starting at noon, there will be a preliminary round in which groups of four competitors battle it out, with the winner advancing. During the finals, players will duke it out one-on-one to determine the top smasher. Tournament slots are limited, and fans will be able to sign up the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those who are not attending San Diego Comic-Con can watch the tournament live on Nintendo’s Twitch channel. News about additional Nintendo Gaming Lounge activities will be announced in the future.
