The Story of Seasons series has always lived in this cozy niche between farming sim and life sim, where your day-to-day rhythms matter just as much as your long-term goals. Grand Bazaar originally released on the Nintendo DS back in 2010 under the Harvest Moon label, and now it’s been rebuilt for a modern audience on Nintendo Switch. This remake stays faithful to its unique spin on the formula – putting the weekly town bazaar at the center of everything – while smoothing out some of the rougher edges from the DS era. August 5: Starting today, Marvelous is kicking off a weekly video series for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar that will introduce the eligible marriage candidates for Story of Season: Grand Bazaar. New ones will be going live on a regular basis.
Twelve bachelors and bachelorettes are in the game. First up is Sophie, “whose devotion to revitalizing Zephyr Town is as infectious as her smile, get to know her likes, dislikes, and see more of her charming personality on display.”

March 27: Today, Marvelous announced Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar for Nintendo Switch. This one is planned for August 27, 2025.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar takes inspiration from the original Nintendo DS handheld release. For this game, Marvelous says it “expands on the content and feature set of the original, while modernizing the visuals and design, leaning into the title’s focus on the theme of ‘renewal’ as players set out to revitalize Zephyr Town’s bazaar and return it to its world-famous glory.”
