Sunshine Shuffle update

A first update for Sunshine Shuffle is now now available on Switch.

One of the notable adjustments concerns NPC thinking time. Also, Time of Day options are now purchasable in Seymour’s Shop. A slew of bug fixes are included as well.

There’s a series of famous paintings from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s featuring dogs playing poker in various settings; there’s a good chance you’ve seen at least one of them represented in a TV show or movie over the years. Sunshine Shuffle, the latest game from eclectic indie developer Strange Scaffold, asks the question: what if these cute animals were actually retired criminals, and what if you got to play poker with them on a boat in the middle of the ocean?

Strange Scaffold has issued a launch trailer for Sunshine Shuffle. The poker adventure game has started to launch on Switch, though it may not be available yet depending on your region.

Original (5/2): Sunshine Shuffle has been confirmed for Switch, and the wait for the game won’t be too long. Strange Scaffold revealed today that the title launches on May 24, 2023.

Sunshine Shuffle is a narrative poker adventure experience “about loss, family, and armed robbery that unfolds between high-stakes hands of Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator

After an initial debut on PC and Xbox last year, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator has just made the jump to Switch. Serenity Forge has even confirmed plans for a physical version.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is described as “a story-centric market simulator about making a profit from body parts, and plying your fleshy wares to a strange and evolving universe of clients.” Players will “monitor market trends, fulfill client requests, unknowingly create a sentient deity of meat that will one day absorb all life.”
