Super Mario 3D All-Stars won’t be out until Friday, but it appears that the collection has already leaked online. That is disappointing – especially from Nintendo – but some fans are already picking through the code and files in hopes of finding out how it was put together.
Based on initial findings, Super Mario 3D All-Stars appears to work through emulation. That goes for Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Nintendo has dropped an overview trailer for Super Mario 3D All-Stars, showing more footage for each of the three games included. The roughly 2 and a half minute trailer gives a quick summary about each game (while showing footage) and also mentions what will be included in the soundtrack.

Nintendo has provided a new look at Super Mario Galaxy on Switch from Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It’s not much, but we do have a bit of footage below.
To further clarify controls on Switch, you won’t be forced to use any sort of motion controls to spin. On Wii, you needed to shake the Wii Remote to perform that move. This is still possible on Switch with the right Joy-Con, but you can now spin with the “Y” button as well.

Buy Super Mario 3D All-Stars at Target, get a magnet set

The purchase bonuses for Super Mario 3D All-Stars continue to roll in. Target is the latest retailer to come forward, revealing that those who buy the release will receive an exclusive magnet set.
Walmart and GameStop also have purchase bonuses, which are a sticker set and Joy-Con covers respectively. We have more information here and here.
As for Target’s bonus, it currently seems that this is an in-store offer. We’re not seeing anything about it being made available online at the moment.
