Ahead of the imminent launch of Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, we caught up with Aspyr to chat a bit more about the package as part of an interview. Brand manager Matthew Ray was kind enough to answer some of our questions.
We’re just days away from a new round of Tomb Raider remasters with The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness coming together in a new collection. This follows updated versions of the series’ first three games that launched on Nintendo Switch last year.

Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered introduces FlyBy Camera Maker, outfits

Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered received a pair of trailers today focusing on its new FlyBy Camera Maker and a video showing off outfits.
According to Aspyr, FlyBy Camera Maker is “a tool that empowers players to create their own dynamic, cinematic shots” as they can “map out a moving camera path through any scene, opening a world of creative possibilities.” Up to 20 cameras can be placed along a path. Shots can also be fined-tuned by scrolling through placed camera points and adjusting settings such as Roll, Field-of-View, Zoom, and movement speed.
Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Remastered restored content detailed

The team behind Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Remastered has revealed how they’re going about restoring content for this new release.
The title will be more than a simple remaster. Aside from offering Modern controls, there’s a lot to look forward to. The restored content in Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Remastered includes some abilities for Kurtis Trent, a training area that was previously unfinished, unused voice lines, inventory items, and more.

Aspyr has revealed that Photo Mode will be returning to Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, which is set to launch on Nintendo Switch next year, on February 14. The feature is set to include all of the poses and outfits from Tomb Raider I-III Remastered alongside new ones, and an extensive amount of customization to allow players to capture the moment how they choose.

Today, Aspyr revealed that it’s developing Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered for Switch. It launches on February 14, 2025.
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness are all included here. Just like the previous collection, the three games will let players swap between the remastered and original graphics.
