Calico Neat Things DLC

Brand new DLC has just been announced for Calico, which is known as “Neat Things”. It’ll be dropping on Switch this winter.

Players can look forward to a bunch of new content. New quests, a new character, new mini-games, and new friends are on the way.

Calico update 2.01

Another update is here for Calico, with players now having access to version 2.01.

Many bug fixes are included. On Switch specifically, the game should have addressed problems that caused crashing. Stability has also improved with the frame rate locked to 30 FPS.

Calico Pawsome Edition update

A major update is incoming for Calico in the form of its new Pawsome Edition. This will be going live for Switch on December 22, 2022.

Described as “the biggest content update for Calico yet”, it’ll bring along new features such as recipe-specific cooking minigames and quality-of-life improvements. That’s along with new animals around the island, a UI and overall visual overhaul to provide a more pleasant playing experience, and the ability to customize wallpaper and floors while in the cafe.

Calico Pawsome Edition

The team behind Calico has announced a significant “Pawsome Edition” update for the game.

A bunch of new content is planned. Players will be able to access new cooking mini-games, new animals to befriend, and more.

Wytchwood physical

Super Rare Games has announced a partnership with Whitethorn Digital and Alientrap to produce a physical version of Wytchwood on Switch.

Each copy comes with all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. 4,000 copies will be made.

Wytchwood gameplay

Ahead of its launch later this week, gameplay has come in for the crafting adventure game Wytchwood. 34 minutes of footage is available.

Calico physical

A physical version of Calico is in the works from Red Art Games, the company just announced today in partnership with Whitethorn Digital and Peachy Keen Games.

Calico originally debuted on Switch in December 2020. It had not been offered as a physical title previously – only digital.

Wytchwood

Publisher Whitetorn Games and developer Alientrap have announced that Wytchwood, a crafting adventure title, will soon be appearing on Switch. The title is currently lined up for a December 9 release.

Teacup Switch

The narrative adventure game Teacup is appearing on Switch next week, publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Smarto Club have announced. A release is planned for September 23.

The official Tagline for Teacup is that it’s “a short and wholesome narrative adventure game with a focus on exploration and non-linear progression.” We have more on the game’s premise below.

Beasts of Maravilla Island

Whitethorn Digital and Banana Bird Studios have readied a new update for Beasts of Maravilla Island. The 3D adventure game is now at version 1.0.3 on Switch.
