Hamster has announced Daio as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for November 2, 2023.
A shooting game released by Athena in 1993, Daio has a Japanese version that uses two buttons to switch between weapons, and an overseas version that utilises six buttons for every weapon. Whichever version you play, the game is designed to be particularly challenging even for those familiar with the genre.
Arcade Archives Daio will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
