Dramatic Labs has just announced the release date for the interactive narrative game Star Trek: Resurgence, which will land on Nintendo Switch on August 28.

Star Trek: Resurgence is a bold interactive narrative game set shortly after the timeline of Star Trek: The Next Generation. A workers’ revolt threatens the fragile peace between two alien civilizations, forcing Starfleet to intervene.

Gloomy Eyes

Untold Tales and ARTE France, along with developer Fishing Cactus and co-producers Atlas V, 3dar, and Be Revolution Gaming, have announced that Gloomy Eyes will launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 12.

Originally released in VR back in 2020, the game is now making its way to consoles, allowing players to experience it without a headset. Narrated by Colin Farrell, Gloomy Eyes tells the story of a sun that, tired of humanity, decides to disappear and never rise again, setting the stage for a moody and atmospheric puzzle adventure.

Outright Games has announced that Chicken Run: Eggstraction now has a release date for the Nintendo Switch. The stealth-action title, which picks up right after the events of Aardman’s 2023 film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, will launch on October 24.

Publisher and developer Hey! Kookaburra has announced that its chaotic local multiplayer party game Splatterbot will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch on September 4.

In Splatterbot, cleaning robots have gone completely rogue – and it’s your job to make the biggest mess possible. Up to four players can battle it out locally, using the environment and various power-ups to out-splatter their opponents and dominate the chaos.

Planet of Lana gameplay

Planet of Lana, the stunning cinematic puzzle-platformer produced by Thunderful and developed by Wishfully, has surpassed 1 million players.

The game tells the touching story of Lana and her cat Mui, on a quest to rescue Lana’s sister, who was kidnapped by invading machines, very much in the style of H. G. Wells, War of the Worlds.

Knights Peak has announced that the thrilling Metroidvania Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 4. Already available on other platforms, the Switch version will launch as an enhanced edition, featuring a New Game+ mode and other improvements based on player feedback.

Developed by Primal Game Studio, the action RPG blends a deep narrative with Soulslike and Metroidvania elements. Set in a dark medieval fantasy world, players will traverse lands ravaged by Entropy, face terrifying creatures and formidable bosses, and make impactful moral choices that shape the fate of their world.

A Deluxe Edition will also be released in the same sate, including the game’s original soundtrack, a digital art book, the Shadowpyre and Gildcrest Transmog cosmetic sets, and the Curious Ottliong and Nimble Dieling as pet followers.

Developed by 1C Game Studios and published by Fulqrum, Deathless: The Hero’s Quest, originally released for PC,  has now been announced for Nintendo Switch. The title will arrive on the console this autumn.

Based on Slavic folklore, the game lets players choose from four characters to explore deadly fairy tales. Along the journey, they’ll collect cards, battle the mythical beasts of Belosvet – a world deeply rooted in Slavic mythology – and work to restore peace to the land.
