Accessories manufacturer Genki has finally reached a settlement in the lawsuit Nintendo filed against them earlier this year.
Before the Switch 2 was officially announced, Genki had actually leaked the design of the system a number of times. At their CES 2025 booth, Genki’s CEO personally showed off 3D printed replicas of the Switch 2 to reporters, and did multiple interviews confirming details about the system Nintendo had yet to announce. Genki also displayed a 3D rendered video of the Switch 2, including the consoles logo. This video was also later posted to the official Genki website.
