2K Games president has no doubts that the Wii U will be sucessful

Some folks out there may be doubting that the Wii U will be successful. 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann isn’t included in that group, though.
Hartmann told MCV that the doubters out there feel this way “because they don’t really understand it.” He feels the Wii U “offers something special and we will be surprised how consumers will get attached.”
“Nintendo always impresses and surprises me. The team there has so much knowledge built up over many, many years. Nintendo always finds its crowd. There have been people doubting the Wii U because they don’t really understand it. I wasn’t sure about the Wii and I was proved wrong, proved wrong by my own people, which I like the most because we sold a lot of Carnival Games. I believe the Wii U offers something special and we will be surprised how consumers will get attached. There’s nothing in my body, not a single piece, doubting that the Wii U will be successful.”
How Nintendo chooses Wii U’s dashboard messages

When you boot up Wii U, you can see a series of icons representing games and users’ Miis milling about around each title. Some Miis’ messages will also be highlighted for the world to see. Now, you might be wondering, how is the content selected?
According to Nintendo, the most discussed topics in Miiverse are selected. But it’s not an automatic process – each selection is screened and filtered before being approved.
“The most discussed topics in Miiverse – e.g. specific games, applications, boss battles, user accomplishments, etc. – will be displayed on Wii U’s main menu. Before that content is posted to the main menu it will be screened and filtered to ensure that it is appropriate for everyone.”

Here’s a random but interesting fact about ZombiU: only 15 players have completed the game in normal mode… so says Ubisoft producer Guillaume Brunier.
Normal mode was completed the quickest in 8 hours. The most amount of time taken is 15 hours.
“Only 15 people finished #ZombiU in normal mode to date. The fastest in 8hrs, the slowest in 15hrs.”

Some Wii U users have been experiencing issues logging into the Netflix app. Why, you ask? Because it actually lacked an “@” symbol. So those with “@” in their passwords couldn’t log in – unless they changed their passwords.
The problem has now been fixed. Netflix confirmed on Twitter that the app now supports the “@” symbol.
