Rumor: Nintendo Direct set for Europe this Thursday
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 0 comments
Nintendo of America will be holding a press conference in New York City this Thursday to reveal various Wii U launch details. It doesn’t sound like a media event is planned for Europe, but there could be a Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo’s Spanish division has supposedly confirmed that the broadcast will be streamed at 4 PM. NOE president Satoru Shibata may be hosting the presentation.
Gamereactor has strangely pulled its original article confirming the news. I’m not sure if that means some information slipped out a bit early, or if the entire story is fake. We’ll try to find out.

“We’re just a few days from confirming a release date for Cave Story on eShop. And NightSky, too!”
Let’s hope those two titles will hit the eShop soon. We’ve been waiting long enough!

Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Screenshots, Wii U | 0 comments
Frozenbyte has released brand new screenshots of Trine 2: Director’s Cut, the Wii U version of the game.
As previously mentioned, the game will include the “Goblin Menace” expansion pack and will support the GamePad as well as Wiimotes. Players will be able to use the GamePad’s touch screen to manipulate objects in real-time.
The team has been working hard on the project and has improved upon a number of elements such as the overall gameplay, geometry, vocals and user experience. Frozenbyte was able to get the game up and running on Wii U in just two days.
You’ll be able to grab Trine 2: Director’s Cut off the Wii U eShop when the console launches this fall.
