If all goes well, I should be around to host Game Night this week. I’m not entirely sure if anything will change over the next 24 hours though, so consider it to be scheduled tentatively. I’ll post an update tomorrow once everything is set. I do hope that you guys free up some time for 8 PM EDT since I have a feeling I’ll be here as planned.

Earlier this week, Nintendo “confirmed” that Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror would be available as part of the 3DS Ambassador program. Now they’re pulling back on their initial statement. Either someone shared some information they weren’t supposed to yet, or misinformation was simply being spread.

A Nintendo representative said the following about the two GBA games:

“We recently sent you an email regarding the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program. Please note that our response may have included some incorrect information about which Game Boy Advance games will be available. The press release from Thursday, July 28th included the correct list of titles to be made available for Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors. Below, is a link to that press release.”

So, once again, only five GBA games have been confirmed for the 3DS Ambassador program. Those titles are Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ and Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

Warner Bros. registered a new Scribblenauts a couple of days ago. Is it a new game? And if so, will it come to a Nintendo platform? I personally wouldn’t be opposed to Scribblenauts 3DS…

Level-5 recently announced the opening of their North America studio. Although it will be responsible for making new titles, we can also expect existing Level-5 games to see localization. The company recently asked fans which releases they’d like to be brought over on their Facebook account.

Here’s how the results panned out:

Activision has just confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be coming to the Wii. The company shared the news during a conference call focusing on their latest financial results.

There was previously some doubt that the title would end up on Nintendo’s console. The game was originally announced for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC with no mention of a Wii version. Activision was also quiet when asked if a separate version would be created for Wii.
