Although Mario Kart 7 is less than a month away, we haven’t seen much of the game’s online interface. Nintendo has talked about SpotPass support and Communities, but we’ve yet to really see these elements in screenshots/videos. I guess that’s starting to change now!

PETA is done with Cooking Mama for now, and is moving on to a new target: Mario. The folks at PETA aren’t too pleased with the Tanooki Suit that has seen a rebirth in Super Mario 3D Land. They’re incredibly outraged that “Mario is sending the message that it’s OK to wear fur”.

To voice their displeasure, they’ve launched a new campaign titled “Mario Kills Tanooki” and created a 2D side-scrolling Flash game.

PETA sent out the following press release today:

Renegade Kid has been working hard on Mutant Mudds, a completely original title for the 3DS eShop. Unfortunately, in spite of their best efforts to bring the game out next year, it probably won’t be out until 2012.

Jools Watsham said “It’s looking like Q1 2012” when asked when Mutant Mudds will be ready. Watsham did not provide a more specific release date.

Make sure you save those eShop dollars for early 2012!
