Nintendo has published a translated version of the company’s financial results briefing Q&A session from Friday. We covered a great deal of the information in numerous posts over the weekend.

Other than what we previously shared, there was nothing from the full transcript that truly jumped out at me. So rather than filling the homepage with walls of text, I’ll let you guys read up on the translated (here) if you’re interested.

This fact sheet details some of the details we posted earlier today.

The intro isn’t anything new, though the first few seconds of the video show the icon on the Wii’s home menu and channel screen.

So, someone out there has Skyward Sword… I just hope the game hasn’t been leaked already.

Capcom shared a ton of new information during hands-on time with the press last week. Today, we have details from previews. We have information on the Raid Mode, a new character, and more.

– Raid Mode: Play as Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield
– Take on enemies to earn point that can be used to upgrade your character/weapons
– Mode can be played through local Wi-Fi or online
– Levels taken from the single-player mode
– Levels/health bars for enemies appear above them
– Receive a rank based on your performance at the end of the level
– Loot handed out as well
– Fourth playable character: Keith Lumley
– Lumley and his partner Quint Cetcham act as comic relief
– Both are described as “nerdy”
– Teh two face off against invisible hunters in one sequence
– Use the Genesis Scanner to detect these enemies
– “Enhance 3D depth slider” option: widen or narrow the 3D effect
– Can choose normal, strong, very strong slider options
– Japanese voices included
– Can reset your game save data

This information comes from Revelations assistant producer Tsukasa Takenaka…

“The story mode in the game is something we created with the single-player experience in mind.I would like everyone to play the game in their bedroom with the lights off and headphones on. That’s the way to experience the mode.

“At the same time, these games we create, we know they’re really enjoyable when you’re able to share some of that experience with a friend. Multiplayer is very important and that communication is something that resonates with everyone. We felt putting Raid Mode in, in this kind of structure, allowed us to do that for this game as well.”

“Previous Resident Evil games have featured maybe not so many characters. In older Resident Evil games the story takes place from one or two characters’ perspectives and progresses with them from beginning to end.

“This game is different in that you see a lot of different viewpoints from a lot of different characters. The viewpoints shift around. That’s one of the things we’re talking about with the episodic structure of the story. You get to see things unfold from different characters in different times, and we found different kinds of characters makes that even more compelling.

“They do seem a bit comical, but when you see how they fit into the story and what they bring to the experience, they’re definitely Resident Evil characters.”

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance was playable at this year’s TGS, so one would expect that the game would also have a demo at Jump Festa. Square Enix confirmed today that they do intend to let Japanese fans sample the title once again at Jump Festa 2012 in December. I wouldn’t be surprised if the demo offered the same experience as the one from TGS, but perhaps Square Enix will surprise us and prepare something new.
