Update: We’ve also added in the shorter, 30-second spot below.

There were rumblings that Metroid: Other M would be getting a live-action commercial, and as you can see above, that’s finally been confirmed. We’ve now seen ads from Japan, the UK, and now the United States. Which one do you prefer the most?

– Wi-Fi quest download system
– Get a closer look at characters’ past, see their other sides
– Red gets a Dahak Mk2 mech early on
– The mech is a primary element in the game
– Red explores dungeons/towns, fights while in the mech
– Switch between Red in his mech, moving around on foot
– Red’s Dahak Mk2 mech is special
– His mech can do Type Changes
– Change the mech to match the situation
– Select “Custom” and then “Type Changes” from the main menu, then choose new type
– Dahak Mk2 Type S (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE S): Basic Dahak Mk2 type, better fighting capabilities compared to a standard Dahak mech, Giant Swing special move (swings enemies for increased damage)
– Dahak Mk2 Type R (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE R): Speed type, Hyper Dash special move (increases dash time, change direction in mid dash)
– Dahak Mk2 Type G (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE G): Defense type, Protect Arm special move (halves damage, keeps you from being blown away)
– Dahak Mk2 Type C (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE C): Catching things, “catch” specials, Wind Catcher move (grab enemies/items from afar)
– When Red is on his Dahak while in Trans form, the mech transforms to “Trans Up” form
– Trans Up form: Dahak Mk2 wraps around Red’s body, “Spark Javelin” move available (tosses energy sphere at the enemy)
– Can also customize your Dahak mech through the “Custom” option in the main menu
– Put special parts in your Dahak’s system panel, which changes its abilities
– Five parts: Attack (greater damage), defense (you take less damage), power (gauge rises quicker when lifting enemies), speed (move faster), recovery (recover some life when life hits 0)
– Can equip mech with airplane parts
– Equip these parts to participate in a special Aeroboard Grand Prix game (4 players wireless)
– Plane parts include the Aero Rider, Twin Nose and Rapid Edge
– Race on a variety of courses
– Crystals are placed throughout the courses
– Collect Crystals to build your boost gauge for an acceleration boost
– Can collect items to use in races
– Players earn a bonus when they reach the goal
– Special bonuses that cycle daily
– “Birthday” bonus, probably given to a player on his/her birthday
– Two part story
– Both stories on the same cart
– Second part has its own intro movie, also made by Mad House
