Original (4/10): New content is in store for Let’s Build a Zoo, as Aquarium Odyssey DLC has just been announced. Switch will be getting it later this year.
The upcoming DLC includes a new campaign, over 50 new species, 7 new enclosures, more than 110 shops, decorations, and more. Players can expect it to take over twenty hours to complete.

Numskull Games has announced the Train Valley Collection, which is a physical version for the Train Valley series on Switch.
The package will include both entries in the series. Additionally, there’ll be a special Deluxe Edition that also comes with a 3D papercraft diorama and a 4-piece train set with diecast locomotive.

Hello Engineer was announced previously, but a Switch version wasn’t confirmed. That changes today with tinyBuild making it official.
Hello Engineer was previously a Stadia exclusive. It’s a construction puzzle spinoff from the Hello Neighbor series in which players can make bizarre vehicles from scraps to escape a crazy amusement park.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 was recently announced for Switch, and we’re now starting to get a closer look at the roster starting with SpongeBob SquarePants. An official spotlight trailer was posted today.
As an all-rounder and a straighforward moveset, SpongeBob is said to be good for beginners. However, he’s relatively short range and isn’t the fastest character. Move advanced more can be pulled off with cancelling.
Quake II gets surprise release on Switch

Surprise – Quake II is now available on Switch. Bethesda just released the game on the Switch eShop, which comes as part of QuakeCon 2023.
This follows the original Quake that made it to Switch in 2021. That one also saw a surprise launch during QuakeCon.
As for Quake II, it comes with the Call of the Machine expansion plus original Mission Packs, Quake II 64, online and local multiplayer, cross-play support, and optional motion aiming. More information can be found in the following overview:

Pix’n Love is working with SNK on a physical release of The King of Fighters XIII Global Match for Switch, the company has announced.
Three versions are planned: standard, collector’s, and deluxe. There’ll only be 1,300 units for the collector’s edition and 150 units for the deluxe edition.

Invincible Cat has provided a final release date for Gravity Oddity, its the gravity-bending space action roguelike. Fans can pick it up for Switch on September 13, 2023.
It’s been a couple of years since we first heard about the project. Invincible Cat was originally planning a Summer 2022 launch, but needed more time in the end.

First EA Sports FC 24 Switch footage revealed

Ahead of next month’s launch, first footage has emerged for the Switch version of EA Sports FC 24.
Gameplay has been posted online as part of a closed beta happening now. Currently a handheld video has popped up featuring a match between Barcelona and Manchester City. Beta participants are technically forbidden from sharing videos, but that hasn’t stopped one YouTuber from doing so.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Wiglett getting new plush

Wiglett is making waves in the news cycle again as a new plush for the creature, which was first introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, is coming soon.
The new plush is a Pokemon Center original. It comes in at roughly 10.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide. According to the description, it features a bendable body for custom poses. It also has soft fabric and embroidered details. All told it weighs 3.3 oz.
