Denis Dyack discusses Kotaku allegations in half hour video

Last year, Kotaku published an article that was filled to the brim with allegations about Silicon Knights and Denis Dyack. Through information provided by anonymous sources, the piece discussed the supposedly troubled development of X-Men: Destiny and how Eternal Darkness 2 was secret being made alongside the project.
Dyack is now with Precursor Games, but these allegations aren’t behind him. While Precursor has been focusing on its crowdfunding efforts for Shadow of the Eternals, Kotaku’s piece continues to be brought up on a regular basis.
And so Dyack has responded to the situation with a 30-minute response video. You can find it below:

Man… how disappointing. No one ever expects licensed games to be impressive, but since this one comes from Firebrand Games, I was hoping that the final result wouldn’t be this much of a letdown.

Those who pre-order Batman: Arkham Origins from Amazon
will receive playable Deathstroke downloadable content. That’s on top of the previous offer of $10 credit.
The Deathstroke DLC isn’t listed on Amazon’s Arkham Origins product page, but it is mentioned on the retailer’s main video game page. We’ll likely be hearing something official about this tomorrow when the game’s full trailer hits.

Konami’s E3 2013 pre-show will have “key announcements”

Konami’s E3 2013 pre-show will be about Metal Gear Solid V, Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2, and Pro Evolution Soccer. But that’s not all. The company is also teasing “key announcements” for the show.
In its announcement regarding the pre-E3 show, Konami states that the event “will also make a number of additional key announcements.” Further information was not provided.

Armature hopes to have Batman Blackgate at 30 FPS with 3D, 3DS version not a PS Vita port

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate won’t be running in 60 FPS – at least with 3DS’ 3D turned on.
According to a tweet sent out by Armature co-owner and technical director Jack Mathews a few weeks back, the goal is to have Blackgate locked at 30 FPS with the system’s 3D functionality enabled. Mathews didn’t say if the game will receive any sort of boost with 3D turned off. He did, however, clarify in the same tweet that the 3DS version isn’t a port of the Vita title (and vise versa, presumably).

Kevin Conroy appears to be voicing Batman in Origins after all

Despite rumors to the contrary, Kevin Conroy will in fact be voicing Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins. Conroy also voiced Batman’s role in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
Rumors regarding Conroy’s departure for Origins circulated after a report came in from NAG Magazine. But during a Q&A session at the Dallas Comic-Con, Conroy confirmed that he’s been involved with the “next Arkham game” for the past “nine or ten months”. While Origins isn’t specifically mentioned, it’s the only new entry in the mainline Arkham series.
