Fire Emblem: Awakening DLC goes uncensored in Europe

Fire Emblem: Awakening’s “Summer Scramble” DLC is out now in Europe. As you may remember, Nintendo censored a moment of one CG scene for the North American release.
In Europe, Nintendo kept the scene in tact. It’s exactly the same as it was in the original Japanese version – there’s no censor whatsoever.
I wonder what makes North American so “special”…

Nintendo and SEGA announced two new Sonic games today. Sonic Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games both made their debuts during the Nintendo Direct.
But that’s not all. A third, mysterious game is in development as well, according to a press release sent by SEGA. We don’t know anything about it – will it be for both the Wii U and 3DS? Just one platform? And when will it be revealed?
Stay tuned!

Considering that a new Nintendo Direct is less than a month away, today’s presentation wasn’t too shabby. But really, it’s the next broadcast that everyone will be paying attention to.
Satoru Iwata temporarily took over the Nintendo of America Twitter account to re-re-confirm (I’m making that up!) that Smash Bros., 3D Mario, and Mario Kart will be featured on the next Nintendo Direct. Other Wii U titles will be shown, too.
#IwataSays We will discuss new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, Mario Kart and other Wii U titles in our #NintendoDirectNA before the start of E3

Various Disney racer domains registered

Disney has registered a whole slew of domain names that point to a new racer of some sort. These include DisneySpeedster.com, DisneySpeedsters.com DisneyKart.com, DisneyRacers.com, DisneyKartRacing.com, DisneyKarting.net, DisneyRacing.com.
Interestingly, there’s a Twitter account already registered for “Disney Speedsters”. It’s unclear if it’s official, but the account is following a trio of other Disney Twitter handles.
Hey, maybe Disney is cooking something up for E3. You never know!

EA: No FIFA 14 for Wii U due to poor FIFA 13 sales

EA doesn’t have any games in development for Wii U. That includes FIFA 14, which would typically be the kind of game you would expect on a console.
It’s true that EA did put out FIFA 13 for the Wii U’s launch. But due to the title’s poor sales, this year’s release won’t be heading to the console.
An EA spokesperson told Eurogamer:
“Ten months ago FIFA 13 was a launch title on Wii U. Although the game featured FIFA’s award-winning HD gameplay and innovative new ways to play, the commercial results were disappointing. We have decided not to develop FIFA 14 on Wii U.”
