Nintendo updates amiibo lineup with release month

It appears that Nintendo has updated their site to not only include the recently announced amiibo from yesterdays Nintendo Direct, but they have also added the month in which all the newly announced amiibo will launch.

Samurai job, Omega boss come to Final Fantasy Explorers

Another round of Final Fantasy Explorers DLC has launched in Japan.
First up, the Samurai job has been added free of charge. This job features high physical attack power that can handle both short and long range weapons. It’s an all-range attacker-type job class best with katanas and katana skills.
Along with the Samurai job, Square Enix is offering the Omega boss for 400 yen. The creature can be found at the Great Waterfall of Maxon, and comes equipped with a number of weapons.

Nashi-jiru Busha! Funassyi vs. Dragons

Monster Hunter 3DS puzzle out now

A new puzzle is now available for 3DS systems. Nintendo has started sending out a Monster Hunter panel via SpotPass, so make sure you have Wi-Fi enabled. The puzzle can be accessed in the StreetPass Mii Plaza.

Here’s the latest on Girls Mode 3 (otherwise known as Style Savvy), which was announced during today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct:
– Take on the role of a fashion store manager
– Need to make your shop more popular
– Do this by helping customers coordinate and find the right clothing to match their looks
– Roughly 19,000 clothing items
– Over 1,300 possible combinations of hairstyles, which can be used as a new beautician’s work, where you change the looks of your customers at your shop
– Can also do some makeup artist work at the shop as well
– Put your best cosmetology skills to use and give customers a new look
– Can also do some designer work and create your own clothes using fabrics
– Take on the role of a model
– Partake in fashion shows and photo shoots for posters
– Out on April 16 in Japan

Cuter Than Ever, Miku and Friends are Back! Launching on Nintendo 3DS from May 26
SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON – January 14, 2015 – SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe, Ltd. today announced that Hatsune Miku™: Project Mirai DX, a 3D rhythm game developed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system, will be available on store shelves and via digital download in North America on May 26, 2015, followed by Japan and Korea on May 28 and Europe on May 29. In collaboration with Good Smile Company, a popular Japanese figure company, Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX features Miku and all of her friends in their Nendoroid figure style. SEGA will release information about retailer preorder programs at a later date.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX features forty-eight full length versions of fan-favorite songs with multiple game modes and play styles. Game modes include both “Touch Mode” and “Button Mode”, each featuring multiple levels of difficulty and a wealth of customization options. Players are able to adjust difficulty via challenge and support items, change timing indicators and target icons, and swap out vocals in certain songs. Further, players can watch their favorite videos and add scrolling commentary in the Mirai Theater, create unique dance routines in the Dance Studio, and compose their own song phrases in My Tune. The game also features customizable Player Cards which can be shared with the community over StreetPass™ and kept current via SpotPass™.
