Head past the break for all of the photos. Note that some of the images could be spoiler-sensitive for some.
Hino on the possibility of Inazuma Eleven games coming to North America
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, News | 0 comments
Nintendo has published the first three Inazuma Eleven games in Europe. However, none of the series’ games have yet to arrive in North America.
Pocket Gamer recently asked Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino about the possibility of a US launch. Hino explained that if fans in the states show their support, “I’d love to respond to that and make preparations for their release.”
He said:
“If more people in the US start saying that they want to play the games then I’d love to respond to that and make preparations for their release.”
[REVIEW] Rune Factory 4 (3DS)
Posted on 11 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in 3DS, Features, Reviews | 1 Comment
System: Nintendo 3DS
Release Date: October 1st, 2013 (NE), Q1 2014 (EU)
Developer: Neverland Co.
Publisher: XSEED Games (NA), Marvelous AQL (EU)
Author: Austin
There’s an implicit warning to the player the moment they start up Rune Factory 4, and it goes something like this:
“I really hope you like anime.”
Yes, the first thing you’ll lay eyes upon after clicking the game’s icon on the 3DS’ home menu is a fully animated music video where anime-styled characters are introduced and a Japanese woman sings a wonderfully cliché (in a good way, I might argue) tune in the background. If you had seen the video without any context, you may as well have assumed it was the theme song to a TV show or the title sequence of a film– and depending on who you are, that might be a joyous setting of stage for a game. Regardless, this opening is actually a very serviceable measuring stick for whether or not Rune Factory 4 will tickle your fancy.
Beyond that outer aesthetic layer, though, there’s a lot to Rune Factory 4: Players will be asked to tend crops, foster relationships (both romantic and platonic), tackle dungeons, learn to cook, forge items, take up chemistry– the list of activities, superficially, is extremely long. Quantity does not equate to quality though, and in the case of Rune Factory 4, the quality does prove somewhat unstable.
Union J changing its name to Union XY for Pokemon X/Y launch

The full extent of Union J’s promotion of Pokemon X/Y has been confirmed. When the two versions launch on October 12, the band will change its name to Union XY… yeah.
Union J member George Shelly suggested the temporary name change. All members of the band are said to be fans of the Pokemon games. Josh and George played Pokemon Black during the filming of X Factor, JJ loves Pokemon Emerald, and Jaymi enjoys Pokemon Crystal the most.

Mario Party: Island Tour still hitting North America on November 22
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Mario Party: Island Tour was delayed in Europe earlier this week, but the game’s release date hasn’t changed in North America. We’ve been able to confirm with Nintendo that Island Tour is still on track for a November 22nd launch in the states.
We learned today that users will be able to take advantage of Download Play in Mario Party: Island Tour so they can get the full experience with friends – even if the other players don’t have the game cartridge. However, it won’t include online play.

Mario Party: Island Tour lacks online play
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 6 Comments
Mario Party: Island Tour includes fairly extensive local multiplayer (especially when it comes to Download Play), but there won’t be any online play.
A few new details about the game are in as well. Island Tour contains 80 mini-games and 7 game boards which can be played alone or with others. Shown previously, AR Cards are used for some mini-games. StreetPass features are included, too.
Mario Party: Island Tour’s Download Play gives other players access to the full game
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 2 Comments
Similar to Mario Party DS, Mario Party: Island Tour contains Download Play functionality. And even if the other 3DS users you’re playing with don’t have the 3DS cartridge, they’ll be given access to the full game during local multiplayer. It’s a pretty nice feature!
