As was previously rumored, Nintendo is bringing the Pikachu 3DS XL stateside. Retailers have already started to obtain product ahead of the system’s official release. A street date has apparently been set for March 24.

We’ll probably be receiving the official word from Nintendo about the special 3DS XL tomorrow. The Pokemon Company sent out a tweet earlier today teasing the announcement.

A couple of new items are on sale at Amazon. First up, both versions of Adventure Time are going for $19.54 currently. You can also purchase a Wii Classic Controller Pro for $13 – specifically, the white model.

Remember, the Wii Classic Controller Pro is not the same as the Wii U Pro Controller. You can, however, use a Wii Classic Controller Pro with a Wii U in some instances.

Seijiro Tomita took Nintendo to court over a glasses-free 3D patent last month after filing a lawsuit back in 2011. Today, a New York federal jury ruled against the company, which will be forced to pay $30.2 million in damages.

Tomita was granted a patent in 2008 for technology that allows users to see 3D content without special glasses. While Nintendo did meet with Tomita in 2003, the hardware manufacturer argued that he was one of many providers it met with and, as The Verge notes, “avoided key aspects of his patent.” The jury sided with Tomita in the end, resulting in the guilty verdict for Nintendo.

There will be lots to look forward to in Shin Megami Tensei. Along with a meaty story campaign, the game will feature over 100 challenge quests. Players will be able to tackle side quests in the form of side-stories and demons will occasionally send over requests as well.

Famitsu, who provided the news, also has details about Shin Megami Tensei’s “Digital Devil Service”. This takes advantage of StreetPass to exchange content with others. Users can make a profile card and choose a demon to develop, and you’ll be able to watch your demon grow as StreetPass exchanges take place. You may come across a rare item through the process, plus fans can participate in special fusions with other players.

Fire Emblem Awakening launched on Feb. 4, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, but bonus content keeps the game play going strong. Fans will continue to look forward to and receive free game content via SpotPass all the way through spring. This new SpotPass content is different from the downloadable content that is currently available through the game’s Outrealm Gate. The free SpotPass map available today is called “A Hard Miracle,” and follows the story of Fire Emblem Awakening main character Chrom as he encounters a mysterious woman and sets off on a journey with her to rescue a group of kidnapped villagers.

During the next few weeks, more maps will become available through the SpotPass feature. These include “Ghost of Blade” on March 28, a haunted tale about a ghost and the ultimate sacrifice; “The Wellspring of Trust” on April 11, a map full of challenging enemies; and “The Radiant Hero” on April 25, which takes place on an isolated island as Chrom and his allies search for a legendary hero. Players can also look forward to other special items that will be distributed for free via SpotPass, such as special weapons, additional playable characters and bonus challengers for the game’s Double Duel multiplayer mode.

This week’s GameStop ad has gone live. Highlights include $10 off Adventure Time for the 3DS and DS.
