Activision is releasing a number of teasers leading up to the reveal of the next Call of Duty. Today’s video features a YouTube clip titled “Prototype Quadrotor with Machine Gun!”.
The futuristic flying quadrotor RC drone weapon could be added into the new Call of Duty title. It’s controlled remotely and can hit enemies through a mounted machine gun. Users manipulate the device with a tablet that is capable of showing a bird’s eye view of the area.
As mentioned in the video:
“Looks like the future’s going to be fun. But if you can’t wait another 15 years, my friends are telling me that this baby might just be in the next Call of Duty game, which would be the s**t.”
Activision will unveil the next Call of Duty (almost certainly Black Ops 2) during the first round of the 2012 NBA playoffs on May 1.

Rumored Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 boxart

Is this the boxart for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2? Perhaps. Twitter user “MW3Updates” shared the image above last night.
There are points that seem to imply that the boxart is real. As Kotaku notes, it uses higher-resolution art from the official series site (and GameStop page), and the text matches the font of the new Call of Duty. Then again, there are signs – such as the use of lens flare – that the box could be fake.
As far as what’s written in Italian on the box: “Prenota Subito” means “Reserve Now” and the box says “Only for Display” in the corner.
Nintendo Power teasing “a cover story for the generations” for June 2012 issue

The latest issue of Nintendo Power contains a very intriguing teaser. The magazine says they’ll have “a cover story for the generations” for the upcoming June 2012 edition.
The teaser is as follows:
“As summer approaches, Nintendo Power will start to heat up with some exciting new revelations in the June issue, including a cover story for the generations. Don’t miss it or you’ll rue your fate, comrade.”
If I had to guess, I would say this is related to a 3DS title. I don’t think we’d be receiving any Wii U announcements at this point, but you never know! In any case, Nintendo Power definitely has our attention…
Rumor: Rayman Origins getting a sequel
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 0 comments
Rayman Origins failed to light the sales charts on fire, but it did manage to turn a profit for Ubisoft. Perhaps this is why the company seems to be giving the game a second shot at success.
Kotaku has acquired images from an marketing survey that implies Rayman Origins 2 is on the way. It mentions “brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, Ghosts, Greek Gods, or dragons”. The sequel would contain another “long and intense campaign”, along with the ability to play alone or with up to three friends in co-op.
The survey comes from Arkenford, a company that is a regular client for Ubisoft. Although a sequel appears likely at this point, we can’t be sure this is the real deal until we receive an official confirmation from Ubisoft,

Capcom’s Hironobu Takeshita, the producer of Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure, has strong interest in making a sequel.
Takeshita was quizzed about the possibility of a follow-up in an interview with Nintendo Power. Additionally, he was asked if there has been any consideration as to how a second game would play like on the 3DS.
Takeshita told the magazine:
“I have a great deal of interest in doing a sequel. It’s one of several IPs that I want to return to. As for Nintendo 3DS…it would be fun if people could play and solve puzzles together.”
Zack & Wiki was a critical hit, but it was not a financially successful game for Capcom. As a result, the company has been hesitant to revisit the IP.
