January 22: During a live stream event today, Marvelous revealed that Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is receiving a Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin collaboration.
Not much about the partnership was confirmed. However, a quick look was shown with a video during that live stream. The collaboration makes sense given the similar settings and how they’re both under the Marvelous brand.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending May 31, 2025 is now available.
Hogwarts Legacy and EA Sports FC 25 shuffle a bit with the former now taking over at #1. Elsewhere, as usual, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe lands the highest as the top Nintendo Switch exclusive per usual – it’s now at #8, up from #10 previously.

According to Level-5, the game has sold over 50,000 copies. That’s based on the combined performance for all platforms worldwide. News about the success was shared on social media today along with the commemorative piece of art above.

Zero Games Studios is bringing its new title Super World War to Nintendo Switch, the company revealed today. A release is planned for August 25, 2025.
Super World War is a turn-based strategy title that can be played alone or with others via local and online multiplayer. In the game, you’ll take control of wild leaders and wage war.

April 11: During a presentation today, Level-5 relayed the final release date for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road and also confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 version. Fans can pick it up on August 21, 2025. The title will be launching simultaneously worldwide in multiple languages – but it’ll be digital-only.
Nintendo Switch 2 will have some upgrades. Level-5 says it includes HDR, higher resolution, higher frame rate, mouse support, and GameChat support.
