Here’s a bit of a surprise: Sin and Punishment developer Treasure is developing Gaist Crusher for Capcom. That’s according to an image posted to the studio’s website.

We originally heard that Treasure was making a 3DS game last October through a GamesTM interview. Is Gaist Crusher the title that had been referred to?

Capcom announced a new Strider game during a Comic-Con panel this week. There was initially some confusion about the game coming to Wii U, as someone who was live-tweeting from the event said that it would indeed head to Nintendo’s console.

As it turns out, the official announcement confirmed that a Wii U version isn’t in the works. But that doesn’t mean Strider has been completely ruled out for the system. The same person who live-tweeted from Capcom’s presentation caught up with developer Double Helix following the panel and was told that the game could be ported over “if there’s a demand for it.”

For now, if you’re interested in the new Strider, you’ll need to settle for another platform – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC.

Shin’en’s next game will be out later this year. The other will be available in 2014. Shin’em also appears to be considering a 3DS port for at least one of the projects.

Shin’en’s tweet is as follows:
