A Monster Hunter game will be coming to North America. Apparently.

But Capcom still isn’t saying when exactly we’ll be receiving news, nor will they confirm which game will be localized.

Associate online and community specialist Yuri Araujo, addressing frustrations that a Monster Hunter title still hadn’t been announced for North America while Ace Attorney 5 was confirmed only a day after its initial announcement, stated:

“Guys, just because Ace Attorney is getting localized, it doesn’t mean we’ll be out of staff to work on Monster Hunter… that said, news are coming ‘soon-er’ than before … Different franchises have different schedules. So please don’t get mad that franchise X or Y is getting more games more often or only 4 months after announcement, or after Japan.”

Araujo later added:

“yes, I understand the frustration. But your request is simple enough: Yes, it’s been confirmed that we are getting a game. ‘What it is’ and ‘when we’ll know more’ are the parts I can’t share.”

Pokemon Black/White 2 launch in North America on October 7. That same day, Genesect should be available through Wi-Fi.

Exact details on the distribution aren’t known, but Genesect will likely be able to use Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, SolarBeam, and Signal Beam.

The event ends on November 12th, so you should have a good month to download the Pokemon.

A third Fire Emblem: Awakening “Ultimate Training” DLC episode will be released in Japan on September 13.

In the latest DLC, top secret military information has been stolen, and it’s up to Krom to retrieve it and chase down the perpetrator.

Players will need to chase a target, though you’ll have to take down a few enemies since it won’t be clear which Revenant is the true enemy. Impeding your way are walls that will automatically open and close during each turn.

The next Ultimate Training DLC, titled “Another Story: Labyrinth Pursuit”, can be purchased for 250 yen.

Retro Pocket is UFO Interactive’s latest DSiWare title.

There are eight LED-style games including Kung Fu Hero, Whale Escape, Mind Your Head, and Candy Factory. Players will also be able to try out Game A and Game B modes for further gameplay variations and more high scores.

Retro Pocket will be available on September 20 for $4.99 / 500 points.

We don’t have all of the information from Game Informer’s New Super Mario Bros. U cover story, but we do have a smattering of details and images. Screenshots can be found in the gallery above while the new information has been posted below.

– Dozens of levels scattered across one giant map
– Sometimes breaks from the large map to zoom in on areas such as the Cookie Dome or Forest of Illusion
– Map can be panned around in its entirety and seamlessly explored at any time

Game Informer has revealed two brand new game for Nintendo Land. Say hello to Metroid Blast and Balloon Trip Breeze!

We’ve actually seen Metroid Blast previously. It made its debut at E3 2011, but it’s a more complete game now. Balloon Trip Breeze, meanwhile, appears to be completely new.

Square Enix has trademarked a few items in Japan, but there’s one filing that’s particularly interesting. “Circle of Mana” is now in the company’s possession.

The Mana series hasn’t been revisited since Square Enix released Heroes of Mana for DS back in 2007. Perhaps this trademark is a sign that the IP could be making a return?
