Fractured Soul approved for the US, not yet in Japan
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Fractured Soul has been approved for the North America eShop, but the game still isn’t ready to go in Japan. The delay is related to online rankings functionality.
Once the issues have been sorted out, final plans for release could be set in motion.
As is written on the Fractured Soul Facebook page:
“Delays, delays, delays… It’s taking a bit longer to get FS approved for 3DS eShop. Specifically, the online rankings functionality is causing some grief. It’s been approved by Nintendo in the US but not yet by Japan. We’re hoping to get it through Japan very soon, then we can figure out when we’re allowed to release it. Very frustrating! We just want you guys to be playing it NOW!!”
FuturLab can make 3DS games

FuturLab, the developer of PlayStation Mini titles Velocity and Coconut Dodge, can make games for the 3DS.
A blurb on the studio’s website states:
“Working with a bunch of very clever people, we now specialise in game design and development for a range of platforms including but not limited to; all PlayStation devices, Apple iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, Nintendo 3DS and Adobe Flash.”
I don’t believe FuturLab has announced any projects for the 3DS yet. If something pops up in the future, it will likely end up on the eShop.
Jump details first Dragon Quest X app for 3DS
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
When Dragon Quest X was re-announced last year, Square Enix hinted at 3DS connectivity. The latest issue of Jump has confirmed that new portable apps will tie into the game.
According to the magazine, Square Enix will first release “Convenient Tool For Adventurers On the Go: Vol.1”. This is a program that allows players to view alerts and product information from the Travelers Bazaar, make exchanges through SpotPass with your Dragon Quest X character, provides information regarding friends and support characters, and permits letter sending to friends.
Square Enix hasn’t said when the app will go live. It will be free, however.
One other tidbit mentioned in Jump concerns the “Key Emblem”, an item that can return you to your human form. The magazine says that it’s scattered across Dragon Quest X’s world.
Thanks to 4Him for the tip.
