Kirby turns 20 this year. Unlike Metroid, Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about the character’s birthday.
On the latest Japanese Nintendo Direct, Satoru Iwata announced that the company will celebrate by releasing “memorial versions” of classic Kirby titles on Wii. This will begin in the summer. Club Nintendo products will be made available as well in Japan.

We have the first screenshots of Chronoblade for you, but there aren’t many details about the actual project. It’s a time traveling game from Corecell Technology Co. Ltd. There will be levels filled with puzzles in which the player need to mess around with a clock on the touch screen in order to change time, ultimately leading to a boss confrontation.

We’ll be around for all of the news. Be sure to check in on the site starting at 11:00 PM EST for updates, trailers, and any other content!
