Update: According to Eurogamer’s Twitter account, Uprising sold 83,000 units.

Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir didn’t perform so well in its first month on the U.S. market. To put it simply, it was a relative bomb. NPD sales estimates place the game at less than 6,500 units sold.

Another recent 3DS title from Nintendo, Kid Icarus: Uprising, did quite well. We don’t have exact data for the game, but we do know it was the best-selling handheld release in the U.S. last month. Additionally, it managed to surpass hardware sales of the PlayStation Vita. Sony’s portable moved between 50,000 to 100,000 units last month, so Kid Icarus probably falls toward the higher end of that range.
