Sonic Generations the most pre-ordered Sonic game ever, anniversary initiatives planned

SAN FRANCISCO (October 27, 2011) –SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced that Sonic Generations™ has exceeded all previous pre-order records from the 20-year Sonic catalog, making it the most anticipated title in Sonic the Hedgehog’s iconic history. The company also announced that, celebrating two decades of the iconic blue blur, SEGA has invested in a number of high-profile brand initiatives surrounding the anniversary and the game itself. Sonic Generations has already been extremely positively received by critics: Complex.com calls it “the perfect mix of old school and new school Sonic” while IGN determined that it is “the best of Sonic.”

Release Dates Confirmed for Sonic Generations, Shinobi, CRUSH3D and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON (October 27, 2011) – SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. are delighted to announce final release dates of several highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS™ titles. Coming out this year and early 2012 each of these exciting new titles have been specifically designed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld experience and feature favorite classic SEGA characters as well as brand new heroes.
