This information comes from Natsume’s Facebook…

“Today we are revealing an exclusive to you, our most loyal fans. We are happy to announce Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for the DS *and* 3DS coming later this year! Fill up your watering can and sharpen your hoe, because it’s time for an all-new farming adventure! More details to come in the near future, including some exciting news at E3.”

That’s the only news Natsume has shared about the game thus far, as far as I can tell. I don’t believe the company has even sent out an official press release and screenshots yet. We’ll post any additional news we find about the newest Harvest Moon title, but we may have to wait until E3…

Capcom opened an enigmatic teaser site today, titled “DD”. The site contains a countdown timer in addition to a simple animation… and that’s pretty much it. We’ll have to wait a bit before finding out what the site is all about, unfortunately. The counter will expire in seven days, which is basically a week from today. Might the site be related to an announcement at Captivate?

Update: Courtesy of this week’s Famitsu, you can also check out the first scans below and the first batch of information here.

It appears that Pandora’s Tower already has a release date. It’ll launch in Japan on May 26.

The Wii Zapper, Wii Wheel, and Wii Balance Board (you can throw MotionPlus in there as well) aren’t the only accessories Nintendo has worked on for their home console. A 2009 patent indicates that they were also experimenting with something called “Wii Light.” It isn’t clear if this is a project that Nintendo is still working on. It sounds interesting, though! Here’s a rundown of what Wii Light is capable of:

– Plug the accessory into the Wii, LEDs show a rainbow of colors
– Red, blue, green LEDs
– Can show 256 colors by turning on different LEDs and adjusting saturation
– Light from the LEDs go through condensing lenses to blend the colors from each LED so the light appears as one colored beam
– Different intensities and patterns (example: blinking)
– Could change color when a bullet hits its mark or if a fist reaches a face
– Games could be programmed to synchronize button presses with light flashes or changing colors
– Music game proposal: Wii Light changes colors to match background music, light can sync to a player’s plastic instrument so players can hear and see how well they’re playing
